CM Eknath Shinde inspects ‘Atal Setu’ before its inauguration

Eknath Shinde, the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, conducted a thorough inspection of the Mumbai Trans Harbour Link (MTHL), popularly known as Atal Setu, on Friday, marking a noteworthy prelude to its official inauguration. The significance of the MTHL as a pillar of Mumbai’s infrastructure development is highlighted by this tactical visit.

As per information from the X handle of CM Eknath Shinde “Shivdi Nhavasheva Sea Link i.e. Atal Setu Project has now been completed and this 22 km long sea bridge will be inaugurated on January 12 with the auspicious hand of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Today, I visited the sea bridge project and inspected the work of this bridge. On this occasion, Mangal Prabhat Lodha, Skill Development Minister, Dr Sanjay Mukherjee, MMRDA Commissioner, Iqbal Singh Chahal, Brihanmumbai Municipal Commissioner and other officials of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation and MMRDA were present.”

CM Eknath Shinde further informed through another post on X,

“Covered the entire distance from Shivdi to Chirle, also visited the control room to learn how the bridge will be controlled. In view of the visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on January 12, I reviewed the preparations made here and gave some instructions to the concerned officials.”

The much-anticipated Mumbai Trans Harbour Link (MTHL) is expected to reach a major milestone on January 12 when Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to inaugurate it –
