Committee section inaugurated in Pimpri Chinchwad Police HQ
Minister for home affairs Maharashtra state Dilip Walse Patil visited the Pimpri Chinchwad Police Commissionerate office on July 17, 2021. During his visit he inaugurated the Committee Section in the premises of the Pimpri Chinchwad Police Commissionerate.
Krishna Prakash, Commissioner, Pimpri Chinchwad Police, Additional Commissioner of Police Ramnath Pokale, Sudhir Hiremath, Deputy commissioner of police, briefed Dilip Walse Patil about the various initiatives taken for the Police staff.
Krishna Prakash gave detailed information about the city’s crime statistics, several initiatives, measures taken to curb crime incidents, CCTV system and many others. Krishna Prakash briefed him about the initiatives taken such as smart bands (watch), 20 high tech cycles for each Police station given to the staff for patrolling and several other ways to strengthen the team. Patil appreciated the tremendous work done by the officials despite the staff crunch during the pandemic period.
Director General of Police Maharashtra state Sanjay Pandey, Manchak Ippar, Deputy commissioner zone 1, Anand Bhoite, deputy commissioner zone 2 and several others were present.
