The Pune city police commissioner Amitabh Gupta will interact with the people on twitter, on Wednesday between 5 pm and 6 pm to connect with them better and also, to understand their grievances.

Speaking about the initiative, Gupta said, “This is the fourth time that I am using the social media platform to interact with citizens. This is helping me and my team perform better. Understanding the expectations and feedback of the citizens plays a huge role in maintaining law and order in the city. We are all digitally connected now. People from all age groups are on social media. If anyone wants to meet me in person, there might be restrictions, but with social media, there is transparency and it is easy.”
