Covishield production not hampered due to fire incident, informs CM Uddhav Thackeray

Major fire broke out in Serum Institute of India’s building a couple of days ago. This unfortunate incident took lives of five innocent people too. The nation went into a big shock when the news of fire spread across the world keeping the citizens worried about the production of the most awaited Covid19 vaccine which was being produced at the SII in Pune. 
But both Adar Poonawala and Cyrus Poonawala assured everyone that the Covid19 vaccine was being produced in a different campus altogether and great precautions are being taken to safeguard the production. 
Chief minister of Maharashtra Uddhav Thackeray, deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, MP Girish Bapat, Dilip Walse Patil, Neelam Gorhe, Environment minister Aditya Thackeray, MLA Chetan Tupe and many others visited the campus. 
Uddhav Thackeray after visiting the spot informed that the Covid19 vaccine is safe and the incident has not affected the production. Also we have Initiated an enquiry into the incident to ascertain the exact cause of the fire. Also thr SII has taken the full responsibility of the people who lost their lives and also announced compensation for thr families of the deceased. We have also informed that even the state government can extend help to the families. 
Adar Poonawala informed that BCG vaccine production has been affected due to the incident. This fire tragedy has cost over 1000 crores of loss. But this has not demotivated us and we shall continue the production of Covid19 vaccine.
