CULINARY QUEEN 2022 held in Pimple Saudagar
Shraddha Varma, a resident of Shraddha Heritage Society was adjudged the Master Chef 2022 in “Search of Culinary Queen”, a cookery competition organised by corporator Nirmala Kute.
The Grand Finale was held on Saturday, 19 February 2022 in the presence of 1000 people in Prithviraj garden on the occasion of the occasion of MLA Laxman Jagtap’s birthday.

About 300 women from Pimple Saudagar participated in the competition and Snehalata Karpe, Janhavi Kite, Manisha Gavali, Shraddha Varma, Usha Bharadwaj, Prajakta Joshi, Manisha Pillai, Smita Pawar, Shraddha Kharate and Prajakta Talekar were the 10 finalists selected out of all. Smita Pawar was adjudged the first runner up and Janhavi Kite was the second runner up.
Chef Amarji Rane, Chef Parag Kanhere and Chef Prasad Kulkarni were the experts who judged the competition. Alka Phadnis and Vivek Phadnis were the valuable advisors behind the scene.
The Honorary Mayor of the city Mai Dhore Distributed the prizes, Corporator Shatrughna (Bapu) Kate, Chair person Savitatai Khule, Corporator Arti Chondhe, Corporator Sunita Tapkir, Swati Hulavle, Supiriya Patil, Kranti Somvanshi, Kalyanitai Shelar along with Master Chef 2021 Kajal Mantri graced occasion with their presence.
On the occasion Corporator Nirmala Kute, in her address, assured that the women in the ward will be given training and opportunities to make them self-reliant and progressive.
