Customized Chat Theme: New Whatsapp Feature. Here’s critical information on the New Feature
WhatsApp is in the process of developing an exciting new feature that will allow users to customize the colors of their chat bubbles and wallpapers, catering to both dark and light mode preferences.
WhatsApp, the popular instant messaging application that has over a billion users in India, is actively working on new chat themes. In its latest update, version 2.24.20.12 beta, specifically designed for Android users, the widely used messaging platform is rolling out enhancements. This update, part of the Google Play Beta Program, enables users to choose a ‘default theme’ for their chats and chat bubbles from a diverse selection of design options.
“This feature will allow users to customize the appearance of their chat interface by selecting their preferred colour for chat bubbles and wallpapers from a predefined set of themes. Although this new customization tool is still in development,” says WABetaInfo, a website that contains updated information about the latest trends taking place in WhatsApp.
WABetaInfo reports that this design is intended to harmonize the wallpaper with the bubble colors, catering to user preferences and potentially fostering a cohesive and unified aesthetic. This feature is expected to offer app users a variety of design options via an updated user interface (UI). Additionally, it will enhance the existing customization options available within the messaging application.
We have not yet received official confirmation from WhatsApp regarding this feature. However, it is evident that development efforts are currently in progress.
Additionally, the website indicates that since the feature is still being developed, it is not yet accessible to beta testers.
This anticipated feature is expected to offer users a variety of design options through an updated user interface (UI). Moreover, it aims to enhance the existing customization features available within the messaging application.
This new functionality will allow users to select dark themes and adjust brightness settings, thereby improving their viewing experience in low-light environments.
It is important to note that the WhatsApp interface permits the activation of only a limited number of themes, as users can choose from a predefined set of presets.
