Banks across several states and Union Territories will remain closed on multiple days in December 2025 due to festivals, state-specific observances, and weekend holidays. As the year comes to an end, knowing the holiday schedule can help customers plan their financial work in advance.

According to the RBI’s holiday calendar, bank branches will be closed on all four Sundays and the second and fourth Saturdays, along with several regional holidays. While physical branches will remain shut on these days, customers can continue using online banking, UPI, net banking, and ATMs for essential services.
