Develop Thergaon school as a “Role Model School” for rifle shooting training ; says Shankar Jagtap

Former corporator of PCMC Shankar Jagtap has urged to Commissioner Shekhar Singh to make this as a role model school for rifle shooting
The Thergaon Rifle Training Center has started to train students in rifle shooting in the secondary school of Thergaon’s Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation school.

School teachers with the help of former corporator Abhishek Barane have started this training center to provide free rifle shooting training to students of municipal schools. This center has been set up by enclosing the parking space. Teachers have used waste materials for rifle shooting. A training system for 10 meter rifle shooting has been created here. Principal of the school Chandrasekhar Kadam and former corporator Abhishek Barane have given two rifles at their own expense. A rifle has also been given by the Police Commissioner’s Office. They are being trained by national gold medalist coach Vijay Ranzhunjar for free.
