Director of Global IT Company Ostracized By Society In Pune; Case Filed Against 13 Members
In a shocking incident from Pune, known for its progressive reputation, the director of a world-renowned IT company has been socially ostracized by residents of Supriya Towers on Nagras Road in Aundh. The victim claims to have been isolated after demanding accountability from the society’s management.
The situation escalated as the family faced harassment, including coconut-throwing at their home, extinguishing lamps placed outside, and preventing participation in religious activities. The victim also alleged that their children were excluded from playing with other kids in the society.
The family, unable to endure the continuous harassment, approached the Chaturshrungi Police Station and filed a case against 13 society members.
The family claims they were subjected to verbal abuse, cruel jokes, and continuous mistreatment. After hearing the plea, the court ordered the police to register a case against the accused. The incident has raised concerns about societal behavior in urban areas like Pune.
One of the accused in the case while speaking to Pune Pulse said there has been an non cognisable complaint filed in the police station by the accused against the complainant for harassing the residents of the society. He also said that his wife’s name is falsely implicated in the case and this move has been taken deliberately in the case as our issue was resolved.
