District collectors may decide on school timings ; Maha edu dept

As the temperatures are soaring across Maharashtra, the schools in the state are likely to change their timings. In the heat wave which has been predicted by the weather department too, parents, students have repeatedly demanded that the school timings be changed.  

As per the latest updates, the government is expected to allow some relief to the parents as well as students. 

Maharashtra Education Commissioner Suraj Mandhare had said that the decision on changing the timings of the school lies with the respective education officers and district collectors. There is no official order as such issued by the department yet.
