Doctors in Madhya Pradesh recently made headlines after successfully removing a 16-inch bottle gourd (lauki) from a man’s rectum following a two-hour operation. The patient, whose identity has not been disclosed, did not clarify how the lauki ended up in his rectum. Despite the mystery surrounding the incident, doctors swiftly admitted him and proceeded with the surgery. The medical team, including Dr. Manoj Chaudhary, Dr. Nandkishore Jatav, Dr. Ashish Shukla, and Dr. Sanjay Maurya, performed the intricate operation after the initial examination.
Following the procedure, the doctors declared the patient out of danger and reported that he was recovering well.
