Dr. Nirpupama Kajla, IDAS, PCDA (O) receives prestigious commendation from Chief of Army Staff
During the Lockdown period last year the charter of duties of the office of PCDA (O) was declared as essential services by the Controller General of Defence Accounts (MoD) in the pandemic of Covid-19.
In recognition of the relentless and unceasing efforts made by the Officers and Staff of office of the PCDA (O) Pune under the exemplary leadership of Dr. (Smt.) Nirupama Kajla, IDAS, in discharge of bonafide duties of the office despite outbreak of pandemic with minimal staff strength, General Manoj Mukund Naravane, PVSM, AVSM, SM, VSM, ADC Chief of Army Staff conferred Dr. (Smt.) Nirupama Kajla, IDAS, PCDA (Officer) with Commendation in New Delhi on 22 April, 2021.
The Office of PCDA (Officers) is responsible for releasing Pay and Allowances and processing personal claims of more than 53000 Serving Officers of Indian Army from newly commissioned Lieutenant to Chief of Defence Staff. Besides, this office also releases the terminal dues of the retiring Army Officers.
Chief of Army Staff profoundly praised the performance of Dr. Nirupama Kajla during the onslaught of pandemic-19 and showed his immense satisfaction towards tremendous efforts put in by the officers and staff of the Office of PCDA(O) to ensure timely disbursement of the Pay and Allowances, settlement of personal claims of the Serving Army Officers and terminal dues of retiring Army Officers.
On this occasion Dr. Nirupama Kajla promised that committed efforts by the office of PCDA(O) shall continue to be made to accomplish the designated targets against all odds to serve the brethren Army Officers.
