Pune, June 17, 2024 – In preparation for the Eid-ul-Adha celebrations on Monday, Pune City police have announced several road closures and traffic diversions. Consequently, the road connecting Mammadevi Chowk, Golibar Maidan, and Seven Loves Chowk will be closed to vehicular traffic.

Traffic Changes in Pune

The Pune City police’s traffic control branch will enforce road closures and diversions from 6 am on Eid-ul-Adha day until the Namaz prayer offerings conclude. These changes will not apply to government vehicles on duty and emergency services such as ambulances, fire tenders, and police and military vehicles.

Closed Roads and Alternate Routes:

Traffic Changes in Pimpri Chinchwad

The Pimpri Chinchwad police have also announced road closures and traffic changes in the Chinchwad and Bhosari traffic divisions for the gatherings at Chaphekar Chowk Eidgah and Bhosari MIDC. These changes will be in effect between 5 am and 1 pm on Monday.

Chinchwad Area:

  • Mari Aai Mata Mandir to Chaphekar Chowk: The road will be closed, and traffic will be diverted via Ahimsa Chowk and Seven Orange Hospital.
  • Bijli Nagar to Chaphekar Chowk: This road will be closed, with vehicles diverted via Mari Aai Mata Mandir or Seven Orange Hospital.

Bhosari Area:
