Ex Film Research Officer, FTII is all set with his first fiction film titled ‘The Chase’

Former Film Research Officer, of the nation’s premier film making institute, Film and Television Institute of India, Pune Dr Chandrashekhar Joshi is all set with his short fiction film titled, The Chase. 
An 11.37 minutes film, The Chase is about awakening of male conscience on women. A woman on the road is not anybody’s property. How can one imagine and dare a heinous crime?  The Chase communicates only with images and without any dialogues. Performance and background music support the actions and flow of the story. 

Dr. Chandrashekhar Joshi’s

This short film is a culmination of Dr. Chandrashekhar Joshi’s association with the medium of cinema as a film critic, researcher, festival jury, teacher and now a filmmaker.  He has written the script of the film besides direction. 

The Chase has been entered to international film festivals such as Salisbury University Film Festival (USA), Festival Ecuatariano de cine Atik (Ecuator), Tangier Film Festival (Morocco), Festival International del Cinema Patalogico (Italy), Rassam (Iran) and Calcutta International Short Film Festival among others scheduled during different parts of the year.
