Faceless Online Service For Preferred Vehicle Numbers To Begin From Today
Pune, November 20, 2025: The Regional Transport Office (RTO), Pune, has announced that the faceless (online) service for reserving attractive and preferred registration numbers for new vehicles will begin on November 20, 2025, at 12 noon.
The service will function entirely online, and no offline payments will be accepted at the RTO office. Citizens can conveniently access the facility from home by visiting the official portal: https://fancy.parivahan.gov.in.
The faceless system has been operational since November 25, 2024, allowing applicants to complete the registration process by using an Aadhaar-linked mobile number to receive an OTP. With the launch of the new MH-12 YX series, vehicle owners can now reserve preferred registration numbers under this newly opened category.
The information was shared through a press release issued by the Deputy Regional Transport Officer, Pune.
