Pune, November 20, 2025: The Maharashtra Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) will be conducted on Sunday, November 23, across 1,423 examination centres located in 37 district headquarters across the state. The Maharashtra State Examination Council has stated that strict measures have been put in place to prevent any form of malpractice during the examination.

According to the Council, 2,03,334 candidates will appear for Paper 1, while 2,72,335 candidates are registered for Paper 2, taking the total number of examinees to 4,75,669. Entry to the exam hall will be permitted only after proper identity verification of candidates.

Electronic devices such as mobile phones, smartwatches, and calculators will not be allowed inside the examination hall.

To ensure transparency and security, CCTV cameras will be installed inside all examination rooms, at entry points of exam centres, and in the rooms of centre supervisors. Officials have stated that strict action will be taken if any malpractice is detected.
