Fatal accident on Bandra-Worli Sea Link; 3 killed, 6 injured

A shocking accident took place when an SUV caused a car crash at the Bandra Worli Sea Link on Thursday night (9th November) that claimed the lives of three people & injured 6 others.

As per further information, around 10:45 p.m. on Thursday, an SUV car accelerated towards the cars parked at the Bandra side of the sea link toll plaza, causing an incident.

It resulted in a collision involving at least six vehicles, seriously hurting the occupants of the back seats.

Treatment is being provided for the six additional victims of the accident.

According to a senior police official, two of the three people who died were female. Hospitals are housing the six injured individuals. There are still two of them in critical condition.

He continued by saying that the driver of the errant car has been located, and that a case has been filed accusing him of, among other things, causing death through negligence.
