Union Roads and Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari has presented a special Diwali gift to the people of Pune with the approval of two groundbreaking road projects worth 35 thousand crores. These initiatives aim to alleviate traffic congestion in Pune district and enhance overall transportation infrastructure.

The approved projects include the construction of two major road developments in Pune city, involving a substantial investment of 35 thousand crore rupees. The notable triple plan encompasses the construction of flyovers, roads, and a metro network, signaling a comprehensive strategy to tackle traffic challenges and foster sustainable urban development.

A key highlight is the incorporation of a new highway connecting Pune and Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, a move that is expected to significantly improve regional connectivity and facilitate faster and smoother travel between these prominent locations.
