Fatal Accident on Samriddhi Highway: 4 Killed Instantly in Scorpio Crash

Another tragic accident occurred on the Samriddhi Highway, this time involving a Scorpio car and a truck near Vaijapur. The incident adds to the growing list of horrific accidents on this highway.

The accident took place at Jambargaon Shivara in Vaijapur taluka when a Scorpio car collided with a truck from behind. The collision resulted in the deaths of four individuals on the spot. The deceased have been identified as Kumari Yogesh Jadhav (22), Kamla Bansi Rathod (40), and Bansi Dhondiram Rathod. The impact of the collision caused the car’s axle to fly about one to one and a half kilometers from the crash site.

Several others were seriously injured in the accident, including Ram Singh Balsingh Rathod, Shital Balsingh Rathod, Mayank Yogesh Jadhav, and Neha Bansingh Rathod. The injured were initially treated at Upazila Hospital in Vaijapur before being transferred to Ghati Hospital in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar for further medical care.

The frequent occurrence of such severe accidents on the Samriddhi Highway raises concerns about road safety and the need for measures to prevent future tragedies.
