Trainee IAS Officer Pooja Khedkar Debarred For Multiple Exam Attempts And Misrepresentation
In a detailed investigation, the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has uncovered significant fraud committed by Puja Manorama Dilip Khedkar, a provisionally recommended candidate of the Civil Services Examination-2022. The UPSC’s thorough probe revealed that Khedkar exploited the system to exceed the permissible number of attempts by falsifying her identity.
Khedkar reportedly altered her name, as well as her parents’ names, photograph, signature, email ID, mobile number, and address to gain additional attempts at the examination. In response to these findings, the UPSC has initiated a series of actions against her. This includes filing a First Information Report (FIR) with the police, and issuing a Show Cause Notice (SCN) for the cancellation of her candidature for the Civil Services Examination-2022. Additionally, Khedkar faces potential debarment from future examinations and selections.

The UPSC emphasized that it conducts all its examinations with the utmost due diligence and integrity, strictly adhering to its Constitutional mandate. The Commission underscored its commitment to maintaining the sanctity and fairness of its examination processes.
“The UPSC has deservedly earned the trust and credibility of a very high order from the public, especially the candidates. The Commission is unequivocally committed to ensuring that such high order of trust and credibility remains intact and uncompromised,” stated the UPSC.
This incident serves as a stark reminder of the UPSC’s dedication to upholding the integrity of its selection processes and ensuring that no fraudulent activities go unchecked.
