Fire breaks out in 5 coaches of Ashti – Ahmednagar DEMU Train : No injuries reported 

In a tragic incident today afternoon, fire was reported in five coaches of Train No. 01402 new Ashti to Ahmednagar DEMU-at Km 360/8 Site between Narayandoh to Ahmednagar section. The fire reported in the 5 coaches of train at 15:00 hrs in in Guard-side brake van and 4 Adjacent coaches to it.

The railway public relations department informed that fire brigade has arrived at site. No casualty and injury has been reported in the incident. All passengers in train got down safely before the fire engulfed the other coaches. Railway ART (Accident relief train)  has been sent from Daund to Site. Total 4 fire Brigades had reached at spot to contain the fire. Fire in all 5 coaches was extinguished at 16.10 hrs.
