Several Injured After MSRTC Bus Overturns in Ajanta Ghat in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, 9 Injured
Nine people were injured after a MSRTC bus carrying 66 passengers overturned at Ajanta Ghat in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.

On the way from Pune to Raver, a Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) bus met with an accident wherein the bus overturned at Ajanta Ghat in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, on Friday. The incident took place in the early afternoon at 1 pm. 9 people sustained minor injuries.
An Ajanta police station official told a news agency that, “The bus was ferrying 66 passengers, 9 of whom suffered minor injuries. The incident took place as the driver lost control of the vehicle. Those injured are from Jamner, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar and were provided medical treatment.”
The injured individuals have been identified as Sushilabai Nirkhe (70, Jamner), Sarubai Patil (65, Srirampur), Vasant Pathare (65, Soygaon), Nikhil Patil (13, Srirampur), Sumitra Nirkhe (48, Jamner), Vijay Suryavanshi (72, Jamner), Sandhya Pathare (63, Soygaon), Jaimala Suryavanshi (60, Jamner) and Jyoti Basnaval (40, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar).
Due to the accident, there was traffic congestion, which was promptly managed and the injured were taken to the hospital. The remaining passengers were accommodated in another bus.
