Today morning at 09:02, the Fire Control Room received a report of a fire in a bus near Kadamvak vasti, Hadapsar, along the Pune Solapur Highway. Fire engines from Hadapsar and PMRDA were promptly dispatched to the scene.

Upon arrival, firefighters found a private bus engulfed in flames. They quickly assessed the situation, ensuring no one was inside the bus, and began extinguishing the fire. Within approximately twenty minutes, they successfully controlled the blaze. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and all 14 passengers and the driver were safe. However, the bus was completely destroyed, including the passengers’ belongings and a two-wheeler stored in the bus’s luggage compartment.

The fire was brought under control by Fire Officer Pramod Sonawane, driver Narayan Jagtap, and firefighters Baba Chavan, Aniket Taru, Avinash Dhakne, Ramdas Lad, as well as PMRDA driver Sandeep Shelke and firefighters Lakshman Misal, Akash Rathod, Suraj Ingawale, and Sanket Kumbhar.
