From Classrooms to Startups: SNBP Students Build Real-World Ventures
SNBP has taken a significant step toward fostering student entrepreneurship by embracing the spirit of innovation encouraged under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. With a focus on creativity, experiential learning, and real-world problem solving, the school is actively shaping a generation of young innovators who think independently and take initiative.
As part of this vision, the school introduced KHOJ: An Innovation and Entrepreneurship Fair, designed to move students “from science fairs to shark tanks.” The platform encourages learners to identify everyday challenges and develop workable solutions through research, teamwork, and mentorship.

One standout initiative came from the senior secondary students, who raised funds through crowd-funding to design and manufacture UV sterilisation boxes for doctors at risk of infection. The school has already donated 28 UV boxes to medical professionals across different fields.

Several students have also stepped into their own entrepreneurial journeys:
- Sunil Dewasi (Class 11) runs Vidminature, a service-based company that helps businesses grow through social media marketing and search engine optimisation. With a team of four teenage friends, his venture supports a chain of cafés and a corporate client.
- Yashika Bulani (Class 12) launched a candle-making business with an initial investment of Rs 1,500, which has grown into a turnover of Rs 9,000 in under a year.
- Arush Parathe (Class 11) works alongside his mother in their bakery venture, Mythilatastybites, which has gained a strong following on Instagram.
- Advita Joshi (Class 12) contributes to her family’s interior design business, bjeinterior.com.
- Vaishnavi K (Class 12) has sold several of her paintings, discovering both financial returns and personal fulfilment through her passion.
- Govind Gautam (Class 10) is developing specialised foot soles suited for different trekking conditions as part of an ideation project.
The school acknowledged the crucial role played by parents, many of whom acted as co-founders by offering guidance, motivation and connections to industry professionals. Their involvement strengthened the belief that strong collaboration between home and school deepens learning and encourages meaningful growth.

SNBP leaders note that entrepreneurship education extends far beyond business skills. It nurtures resilience, empathy and problem-solving abilities. By giving students hands-on exposure and the freedom to explore, the school aims to inspire confident, creative and community-minded young leaders ready to make an impact.
