From Pimple Saudagar to New Delhi: Tanu Bhan Wins India’s Top NCC Cadet Award
Pimple Saudagar has a new reason to feel proud as Maharashtra’s daughter, Tanu Bhan, has made a mark at the national level through her outstanding achievement in the National Cadet Corps (NCC).
After the Republic Day parade, an NCC rally held at Cariappa Parade Ground in New Delhi witnessed a moment of pride for Maharashtra. Junior Under Officer Tanu Bhan from the Maharashtra Directorate won the prestigious ‘Best Cadet’ title from the Army Wing (Senior Wing), the highest honour given to an NCC cadet in the country.
In a grand ceremony, Tanu Bhan was felicitated with a gold medal and the prestigious ‘Cane’ by the Prime Minister of India. She earned this honour by excelling in all key parameters, including discipline, leadership, physical fitness, confidence and dedication towards national service.
A resident of Pimple Saudagar, Tanu’s success has not only brought recognition to her locality but has also highlighted the name of Pimpri-Chinchwad city and Maharashtra at the national level.
Congratulating her on this proud achievement, Pimpri-Chinchwad BJP city president and corporator Shatrughna (Bapu) Kate personally met Tanu Bhan and her family and felicitated her. He praised her dedication and wished her success in her future journey.
Tanu Bhan has today emerged as a symbol of women’s strength, determination and leadership. Through her achievement, she has once again proved that girls are in no way behind in the field of national service and can reach any height with discipline and hard work.
Speaking on the occasion, Shatrughna (Bapu) Kate said that Tanu Bhan, being the daughter of Pimple Saudagar, has elevated not just her area but the pride of the entire Pimpri-Chinchwad city and Maharashtra at the national level. He added that her success is not merely a personal milestone but a shining example of the capability of Maharashtra’s daughters and women power across the country. Her journey, he said, will inspire thousands of young girls and reinforce the message that women can excel in every field.
