PM Modi has declared a decrease in the price of LPG cylinders on International Women's Day

Pune: The Central Government has made a significant announcement regarding the beneficiaries of the central government’s widely popular Ujjwala Yojana scheme.
During a press conference chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, it was disclosed that the subsidy for Ujjwala beneficiaries has been increased from Rs 200 to Rs 300.

This decision follows the cabinet’s announcement last month of a reduction of Rs 200 in LPG rates on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan and Onam.
Consequently, the price of an LPG cylinder was reduced from Rs 1100 to Rs 900, while Ujjwala Scheme beneficiaries were able to purchase gas at Rs 700.

Now, the beneficiaries of Ujjwala Yojana will be able to purchase gas cylinders for Rs 600, as the government has increased the subsidy under this scheme.
