Safari is known for sanctuaries like Tadoba, Pench. These safaris are for tigers, lions; But for the first time in Maharashtra, the Pune Forest Department has started Grassland Safari. A special website has been launched for this purpose. Bookings are taken from it. More than two hundred people have participated in it so far.

These safaris are running in two schedules, morning and evening. Those who visit directly are also given admission.

Information about this safari is being given to students and citizens at local level so that they protect the wildlife on these grasslands.

Chief Conservator of Forests, Pune, said that the ecosystem of the place is under threat as it is decreasing. When people see an open space, they plant trees there.
