In a groundbreaking achievement, Anjali Lotke, of Shuttle Masters Badminton Academy, has secured a spot in the record books by crafting the world’s largest replica of Shaniwar Wada using an impressive 3824 badminton shuttles. The unique badminton masterpiece garnered immense attention, drawing enthusiastic crowds of players, citizens, and children alike.

The grand inauguration of this extraordinary badminton replica took place with the presence of Amanora Township Managing Director, Anirudh Deshpande, who did the honors alongside Chetan Tupe Patil, the MLA of Hadapsar Assembly Constituency, serving as the esteemed Chief Guest. This impressive display pays homage to the rich badminton history of Pune, the birthplace of the sport in India, where it was first played in the mid-19th century, originally known as Poona.

Anjali Lotke, not just the Academy Principal but also a champion in Pune District, Maharashtra State, and across India, showcased her exceptional skills through this innovative endeavor. 

The spectacular Shaniwar Wada replica is open for public viewing on January 26 and 27 from 10 am to 06 pm.

Anirudh Deshpande, impressed by Anjali Lotke’s initiative, expressed special appreciation for the remarkable achievement, further highlighting the significance of the badminton legacy in Pune.
