Heavy vehicles banned on Shivarkar and Prince of Wales Drive road

Heavy vehicles are prohibited entry on Shivarkar road (Fatima nagar to ABC farms chowk) and Prince of Wales drive (Lulla Nagar to Bhairobala nala chowk) from 6 am to 10 pm for the safety of citizens. With the unlock, processing the movements of vehicles have increased on the road. Hence to restrict the movements of heavy vehicles on public roads heavy vehicles have been banned.

Heavy vehicles are prohibited entry on Shivarkar road and Prince of Wales drive road from morning 6 to evening 10. The Pune Traffic Police Wanawadi traffic division has asked suggestions or objections to be submitted till November 16, 2020 to the office at Bunglow 6, Near Yerwada post office, Yerwada.

Vehicles such as fire brigade, ambulances, police vehicles shall be allowed to ply on this route.
The order was issued by deputy commissioner of police traffic division Pune Rahul Shrirame.
