Heritage Walk to be held on Tourism Day on September 27

Tourism Directorate is all set with variety of programs organised for the tourists from across Maharashtra on the occasion of World Tourism Day. In the Pune division, Pune, Satara, Solapur and Kolhapur have organised several programs, said Tourism Directorate’s assistant director, Supriya Karmarkar. 

September 27 is celebrated as World Tourism Day. United Nations World Tourism Organisation celebrates the day on different themes. This year the theme is Tourism for Inclusive Growth. 

Below are the programs organised on September 27 

Pune city : 

Pune Heritage walk tourism by Divisional Office and Pune Tourim Forum Of Maharashtra at Shaniwarwada – Lal Mahal, Prarthana Samaj Mandir – Mahatma Phule Mandai. 

Alongwith D Y Patil College of Hotel Management, the tourism office has organised an online webinar on September 26. 

Satara : Kaas Plateau Tour for Matoshri Old Age home. TAAS travel Association of Satara wherein travel partners from Satara, Karad, Panchgani, Shirwal have organised a joint program too. 

Kolhapur – Kolhapur Collectorate office has organised several programs. Karveer Nivasini Reinstallation Day Anniversary celebrations, Destination Kolhapur Logo unveiling, District Tourism Map launch, essay Competition and many others have been organised. 

Solapur – On September 27, nature walk for retailers association of Solapur at Siddheshwar Van Vihar, Eco-friendly Club launch and many other programs .
