Historic Shiva Srishti Theme Park Inaugurated In Pune

The city of Pune, steeped in history and heritage, witnessed the inauguration of the grand Shiva Srishti theme park, a 21-acre tribute to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s life and legacy. Located in Ambegaon, Pune district, this historical theme park aims to inspire future generations.
The Shiva Srishti theme park was inaugurated by Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav. Developed by Maharaj Shiv-Chhatrapati Pratishthan Trust, the park is a testament to Chattrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s enduring legacy. With an estimated cost of Rs 438 crore 68 lakh, the park has been completed in two phases.

The theme park features an array of attractions, including Sarkarwada, showcasing Maharashtra’s forts, a 5D-show of Raigad, and interactive experiences based on Shivaji Maharaj’s life. The second phase includes a ‘Swarajya, Swa-Dharma, Swa-Bhasha’ show on a rotational platform, accommodating 100 visitors simultaneously.
The park has been granted the status of ‘Mega Tourism Project’ and has already attracted over 70,000 visitors. The third phase will see the completion of the entrance gate, construction of the Raj Sabha, dark ride, embankment, landscape, and auditorium.
Concurrently, the National Conference of Rambhau Mhalgi Prabodhini Sanstha was held in Pune. The conference featured a seminar on “Punyashlok Ahilyabai Holkar and his public-welfare good governance.” Eminent speakers addressed the audience, including Padma Shri awardee Nivedita Tai Bhide and Dr. Nathibai Damodar Thakarsi.
Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis presided over the national discussion, with Dr. Vinay Sahastrabuddhe as chief guest. The seminar aimed to highlight Ahilyabai Holkar’s contributions to public welfare and good governance.
