Pune: In a horrific accident, two people lost their lives in a hit-and-run case near Loni Lane on Pune Solapur highway. The incident occurred on Sunday midnight. A case has been registered against the unknown vehicle driver at Loni Kalbhor Police Station.
As per further information shared by Loni Kalbhor Police, on midnight of Sunday (22nd October), both the youths were going on a motorcycle in front of a petrol pump on the Pune-bound lane of the Pune-Solapur highway. At that time, the motorcycle was hit by an unknown speeding vehicle. Both the youths, who were seriously injured in the accident, died. After the accident, the accused driver fled the scene. Police are searching for the driver.
A case has been registered at Loni Kalbhor Police Station under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). Police are investigating the case.
