The results of the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC, Std XII) and Secondary School Certificate (SSC, Std X) exams are anticipated to be released by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) in May.

The SSC results are generally released by June, while the HSC results are typically released in the final week of May. However, this year’s evaluation procedure has gone according to plan, allowing the board to release the results sooner than usual.

This year, the SSC exam started on March 1, while the HSC exam started in the third week of February. The HSC exam evaluation process is nearly 98% finished. The officials are awaiting a few reports from 10–12 centers, and they are on schedule. In a similar vein, the SSC evaluation is almost finished, and students can anticipate hearing back by the end of May.

This year, more than 15 lakh students from the ten divisions of the state—Pune, Mumbai, Amravati, Aurangabad, Nagpur, Latur, Nashik, Konkan, and Kolhapur took the HSC test and more than 16 lakh wrote the SSC exam. Compared to last year, 30,000 more pupils took the SSC exam this year.
