The weather department has forecasted very heavy rains in several parts of the country. Additionally, a red alert has been issued for the Ghat areas of Madhya Maharashtra today.

In Pune, continuous rains soaked the city and other parts of the western Maharashtra district, including Velha, Mulshi, and Bhor talukas, along with the catchment areas of several dams on Thursday. A red alert has been issued for Madhya Maharashtra for July 27, predicting extremely heavy downpours in the region.
