According to the National Crime Records Bureau report of 2023, Pune is among the top 5 safest cities in India. Factors like aggressive crime prevention tactics, citizen involvement and efficient law enforcement are elemental in determining the safety standards of a city. What distinguishes the safe cities from others is not just the lack of crime but also the strong systems in place to guarantee public safety.
