The Indapur Police have charged seven people for performing dangerous stunts from two vehicles on the old Pune-Solapur Highway, endangering their own lives and the safety of others.

The incident took place on Monday, September 16, near the Tuljabhavani Temple in Indapur city, where two cars were seen speeding recklessly and engaging in hazardous activities. According to a complaint filed by police constable Laxman Popat Salve, one car (MH42 BJ 6740) had four people inside, while another black vehicle without a license plate had three occupants.

The suspects were reportedly hanging out of the windows, shouting loudly, and creating a public disturbance while driving at high speeds. This reckless conduct not only endangered the lives of those involved but also posed a threat to other drivers on the highway.

The vehicles were speeding and breaking traffic rules, creating a dangerous situation for other drivers and compromising public safety. Concerned about the disturbance, the Indapur Police quickly acted on the complaint and filed charges against the seven individuals for dangerous driving.

Police Inspector Suryakant Kokane is leading the investigation, and the department is committed to preventing such reckless behavior in the future. Authorities have warned the public against dangerous stunts and reckless driving, emphasizing the serious legal consequences and risks to safety.
