Indu Rani Dubey takes over as Divisional Railway Manager, Pune Division
Indu Rani Dubey has joined as Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) on Pune Division. She belongs to the 1994 batch of Indian Railway Traffic Services. She holds degree in Economics and Law. Prior to this, she was working as Officer on Special Duty Safety/Traffic in the Office of the Chief Commissioner Railway Safety – Lucknow.
Dubey has vast experience of working in various positions on Indian Railways. During railway service, she has worked on various posts in Lucknow, Izzatnagar, Varanasi, Sonpur Divisions & HQ of North Eastern Railway Gorakhpur in the Operating and Commercial Departments.
She has been instrumental in providing practical solutions to many complex operational and contributed in examining complexities of various major yards of Indian Railways and have assisted in providing workable solutions to many complex operational and safety issues. She has been recipient of National Awardfor outstanding service by the Ministry of Railways in 2005 and received certificate of Excellent service by Hon’ble Minister of Railways in 2018 for contribution in Commission of Railway Safety.Dubey has been awarded Chevening Gurukul Fellowship for Leadership and Excellence, awarded by the Govt. of United Kingdom and has completed it from the University of Oxford recently.
Dubey set her priorities in Pune Division for safe train operations, passenger amenities, improving punctuality, completion of rail projects and earnings. She expressed that she will make all out efforts in ensuring better customer experience for passengers and in fulfilling the visions of our Prime Minister for a more vibrant nation.
