With the Pune Municipal Corporation announcing the number of Vaccination centers everyday, it is seen that most of the places are over crowded despite making the procedure online. To resolve this mad rush at the centers, Pune Municipal Corporation has set up an online dashboard which shall convey the number of vaccines Available at the center just by logging on to a website.

https://www.punevaccination.in/ is the website which can be accessed by the beneficiaries to know the exact status. The dashboard online system was inaugurated at the hands of Pune Municipal Mayor Murlidhar Mohol today on May 13, 2021. It is a joint initiative of PMC and MCCIA.
The inaugural ceremony took place in presence of Hemant Rasne, Ganesh Bidkar, Deepali Dhumal, Rubal Agarwal and Vikram Kumar.

Mohol said, “It is observed that at most of the centers people present are more in numbers and the number of doses are less. This leads to confusion at many places among the citizens and also leads to frustration. But with this facility PMC:Covid-19Vaccination

Drive in Pune city  it will be easy for people to check the exact status and then visit the Vaccination center.”

Mohol further stated that PMC has written to the( state government demanding more Vaccines to us. In Pune city, so far 9 lakh people have been vaccinated (first and second dose).

How will the dashboard look like ?
After logging on to the website:
Beneficiaries can click on the age group category, type of vaccine (Covishield / Covaxin), dose type (first/second), vaccination center (govt / pvt) and choose the right one. After clicking on to the desired location, the website will show thr exact number of vaccines Available at the center.
Punevaccination.in attempts to give a visual (geotagged) perspective on vaccine availability for any given day in the PMC area.

By late evening every day, data is gathered for vaccination centres (for the next day) and uploaded on this site.
One would be able to use GoogleMaps for distance and direction as well.
This would reduce inconvenience. We will continue to gather feedback and continue to improvise it to the best extent possible.
This is an initiative of PMC supported by MCCIA. Shoptimize contributed as a platform solution and CPC as an advisor on the analytics front.
