In a surprising turn of events, reports suggest that Vikrant Massey, known for his impressive performances in films like “12th Fail” and “Death of the Gunj,” has been roped in to play the antagonist in Farhan Akhtar’s highly anticipated film “Don 3.” The movie already boasts an impressive cast, including Ranveer Singh and Kiara Advani.
According to sources, Vikrant Massey will be seen playing the villain opposite Ranveer Singh in “Don 3.” This marks a significant departure from his previous roles, where he has largely played supporting characters. Massey’s entry into the Don franchise has generated considerable excitement on social media, with fans eager to see him share screen space with Ranveer Singh.

“Don 3” is set to bring together two of Bollywood’s most talented actors, Ranveer Singh and Vikrant Massey, in a never-before-seen on-screen pairing. Both will play opposite to each other. The movie will also star Kiara Advani, who will be paired with Ranveer Singh. This will be the first time the two Sindhi actors will share screen space together. After playing the antagonist in the OTT film Sector 36, the actor is not set to play the role of villain on the big screen as well.

Before taking on the villainous role in “Don 3”, Vikrant Massey was last seen in the film “The Sabarmati Report”, where he delivered a powerful performance. His recent projects have showcased his versatility as an actor, earning him critical acclaim and a loyal fan base for his performances in the Sector 36 series and the blockbuster hit “12th Fail,” which was based on a real-life story.
On the question of casting Shahrukh Khan in the 3rd Part, Farhan said, “When I first started thinking about doing a Don 3, I mean, obviously, I thought of writing something with Shah Rukh in it, but somehow, we just couldn’t find the right place to be able to take the story to. We couldn’t find common ground on it – so that didn’t happen.”
As of now, the filmmakers haven’t made any comment and the story is still being worked on. The announcement regarding the date of release is awaited.
