ISHRAE student chapter successfully installed at PCCOE

Indian Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers is Society of engineering professionals and consultants which spread awareness about state of the art technologies in HVAC&R field. HVAC&R market is expected to grow at CAGR of 15.8 % in coming years, for which there is dire need of skilled manpower. 

In order to fulfill this requirement, ISHARE is reaching out to budding engineers to look HVAC&R as potential career options. ISHRAE Pune made an effort in this direction by successfully installing a student chapter at Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering Pune on 13 April 2023.

The installation ceremony took place in gracious presence of two stalwarts from HVAC&R industries Mr. Ulhas Vatpal, Director Prihoda India Pvt Ltd and Mr Vimal Chavda, National Business head of HVAC&R at Testo India Pvt Ltd. Kanishk Runwal took oath as President, Rahi Chopade is shouldered with the responsibility of chapter secretary and Anil Katte and Jaydip Borse are given responsibility of treasurer along with the core working committee of 10 students to execute various programs throughout the society year.

Both of these dynamic leaders delivered a session on “Career opportunities for students in HVAC&R field: A sunrise sector”, which was attended by 80 students from Mechanical department of PCCoE. Many students are inspired from their talk and show interest in taking ISHRAE membership.

Trophies were also distributed to the winners of TechnoQuiz competition held on 9th April at PCCoE campus.

During the program, Nilesh Gaikwad, student chair ISHRAE Pune Chapter, greeted dignitaries with a welcome speech. Dr. Padmakar Deshmukh, HoD Mechanical and Dr. Shitalkumar Rawandale, Dean III felicitated dignitaries by giving a token of love from PCET trust. Abhijeet Kore gave a vote of thanks for the program. Roshani Godbole was the MoC for the event.
