‘Kalaa Spandan Art Fair’ to feature 1,500 artworks

About 1,500 artworks of over 100 artists from across India and various galleries will be showcased in ‘Kalaa Spandan Art Fair’, to be held at Siddhi Banquets on DP Road from April 13 to 16.

The Kaala Spandan Art Fair, is a leading contemporary art-fair in the country, is an initiative of Indian Art Promoter. The entry to the Art Fair is free and it is open to visitors on April 13 from 3 PM to 8 PM after its inauguration. From April 14 to April 16, the Art Fair will be open to visitors from 11 AM to 8 PM.

Noted cine artist Ashok Kulkarni would be the Chief Guest for the inauguration function. Architect Shirish Dasnurkar, artists that are participating in the exhibition including Raamji Sharma and Ram Thorat and Sudip Chakrabarti, organizer of the exhibition would also be present during the inauguration function.

“Artworks in all mediums ranging from figurative to abstract paintings, alcohol ink-art, oil, water, acrylic color, mix medium paintings, resin art, ceramic art, decorative arts, traditional art, created by artists will be showcased during the Art Fair,” said Sudip Chakrabarti, founder of Indian Art Promoter.

In what will be a treat to the art-connoisseurs, artefacts also designed by the professional artists from all over the country, will also be showcased in the Art Fair. Designer concepts in all shapes, styles, and forms, photographs, calligraphy works, greetings, recycled art works, will also be showcased in the Art Fair.

“The Art Fair is an international platform for the artists, sculptors to showcase their talent, skills. It also provides an opportunity for the art fraternity to know about different contemporary artworks from across the globe,” Sudip Chakrabarti added.
