Pune, June 25, 2026: Fresh details have emerged in the sensational Lohagad Fort murder case after the FIR statement of Ketan Agarwal’s father revealed that the 25-year-old had repeatedly expressed concerns about his fiancée, Siya Goyal, weeks before his death.

According to the statement given by Ketan’s father, Vishal Agarwal, the marriage proposal was introduced through relatives, and the engagement between Ketan and Siya was held in February 2026 at a luxury hotel in Pune after both families agreed to the alliance.

The statement indicates that after the engagement, Ketan and Siya frequently spent time together. During this period, Ketan reportedly asked his father whether the family had thoroughly verified Siya’s background. However, family members reassured him, saying she belonged to their extended family network and had been recommended by trusted relatives.

Vishal Agarwal told investigators that Ketan had raised concerns on multiple occasions regarding Siya’s behaviour. He allegedly mentioned that she often remained occupied on phone calls, frequently spoke about her friend Chetan Chaudhary, and would get into arguments over minor issues.

The FIR statement further revealed that Siya had repeatedly insisted on visiting Lohagad Fort. According to the family, the couple had already visited the fort once at the end of May. When she again requested a visit in early June, family members initially discouraged the trip.

The statement also mentions that a pre-wedding shoot had been planned in Bali, Indonesia. However, the trip was cancelled after Ketan’s passport reportedly went missing while the group was on its way to Mumbai airport.

According to his father, Ketan later informed the family that Siya had been arguing with him frequently over the previous month. The family, however, believed these disagreements were routine relationship issues and did not view them as serious warning signs.

A few days before the fatal incident, Ketan again reportedly told his family that Siya was persistently pressuring him to visit Lohagad Fort. He also expressed suspicion that she might be involved in another relationship, citing her frequent phone conversations and repeated references to Chetan Chaudhary.

Family members said they reassured Ketan at the time and dismissed his concerns, believing there was no reason for suspicion.

Investigators are now examining these statements as part of the broader murder probe. Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding Ketan’s death and the alleged conspiracy behind the incident.

Both accused remain in police custody while further investigations are underway.
