Kinnaur admin postpones Kinnaur Kailash Yatra
Shimla, July 21 : Continuous Monsoon fury in Himachal Pradesh forced Kinnuar district administration to postpone the Kinnaur Kailash Yatra schedule from August 1 to August 15, 2023.
In a notification issued by the SDM Kalpa from Recong-peo peo Friday said due to bad weather conditions the Kinner (Kinnuar) Kailash Yatra 2023 which was earlier planned from August 1 to August 15, 2023 to 15-08-2023 postponed to August 15 to September 1, 2023.
However Administration also stated that this order could be reviewed depending on changing weather conditions.
Importantly, District Administration Shimla has also suspended Shrikhand Mahadev Yatra in view of the persistent rainfall condition on July 10. Shrikhand mahadev yatra had started on July 7, 2023.
