Pune, December 5, 2024:

Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) will celebrate its fourth annual Pedestrian Day on Wednesday, December 11, 2024. Pune is the first city in India to observe Pedestrian Day every year on December 11 to promote awareness about pedestrian rights and safety, with special sensitivity towards children, senior citizens, women, and differently-abled individuals.

This year, PMC has collaborated with Pune Traffic Police, Laxmi Road Traders Association, and street vendors’ organizations to organize a variety of events and ensure the success of the celebration.
