Laxmi Road To Remain Closed For Vehicles As Pune Municipal Corporation Celebrates Pedestrian Day On December 11
The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has announced that it will be celebrating Pedestrian Day on December 11, 2024. As part of the celebrations, Laxmi Road, from Kunte Chowk to Shagun Chowk and from Shagun Chowk to Garud Ganpati Mandal Chowk, will be closed to vehicular traffic from 8 am to 8 pm.
The PMC has urged citizens to take note of the road closure and participate in the Pedestrian Day activities. The road closure will also affect minor roads connecting to Lakshmi Road, which will also remain closed during the specified time.
The Pedestrian Day celebration aims to promote pedestrian-friendly infrastructure and raise awareness about the importance of pedestrian safety. The PMC has invited citizens to participate in the event and enjoy the pedestrian-friendly atmosphere on Lakshmi Road.
