Maha govt sanctions 110 crores for conservation project of Jejuri temple

In a meeting held on Jejuri temple’s preservation and conservation with the Chief Minister of Maharashtra Uddhav Thackeray, it was announced that funds of Rs 110 crores would be granted for the first phase of the project. This project will have Jejuri temple conservation, developing the surrounding areas by providing basic facilities for the devotees, maintaining the historical places around the temple and in Jejuri. 

The meeting was attended by deputy chief minister Ajit Pawar, minister for public works development Ashok Chavan, Eknath Shinde, minister for Urban Development, Maharashtra, Member of Parliament Baramati constituency Supriya Sule and Purandar Constituency MLA Sanjay Jagtap. 
In the first phase of the development, Rs 110 crores would be spent on developing Infrastructure around Jejuri and conservation of the historical temple and other places around Jejuri.
