Maharashtra CET Cell Extends Registration Deadline For LLB, B Ed- M Ed, And B P Ed Courses To February 28
Mumbai, February 16, 2026: The State Common Entrance Test Cell has extended the deadline for online applications to LLB (three-year), B.Ed.-M.Ed. (three-year integrated), and Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) programmes for the 2026–27 academic session. Candidates can now complete their registrations until February 28, 2026.
According to the revised timetable, the LLB (three-year) Common Entrance Test (CET) will take place on April 1 and 2, 2026. The B.P.Ed. CET is scheduled for April 4, 2026, followed by a mandatory field test from April 5 to April 7, 2026. The B.Ed.-M.Ed. CET will be conducted on April 9, 2026.
The CET Cell has made the detailed schedule, application procedure, and information brochure available on its official website. All entrance examinations will be held in computer-based mode at designated centres across Maharashtra. Applicants are advised to check the official portal regularly for updates and further instructions.
Registration trends over the past three academic years indicate growing interest in the LLB programme, with applications rising from 76,425 in 2023–24 to 94,506 in 2025–26. The integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. course recorded 1,794 registrations in 2023–24, followed by 1,036 in 2024–25 and 1,139 in 2025–26. Meanwhile, B.P.Ed. registrations declined over the same period, from 9,399 in 2023–24 to 6,598 in 2025–26.
