Maharashtra Police pays tribute to war heroes of 1971 Indo Pak war

In order to commemorate 50 Glorious Years of the victory of Indian Armed Forces in 1971 Indo-Pak War, the Maharashtra Police at Shivaji Nagar Police Parade Ground in Pune conducted ceremonious welcome of the Victory Flame on 28 Oct 2021 wherein Commissioner of Police, Pune and Police staff were involved in celebrating this momentous occasion with great fervour.

The Significant occasion was graced with the presence of Next of King Brigadier Apte Brother of Late Flt Lt Apte Pradeep Vinyak, Meenakshi Naik, Mother of Late Major Naik, Sena Medal and Veer Nari Kalawati wife of Gunner Jadhav Laxman Kashinath.

The Victory Flame was received by Commissioner of Police, Pune and Senior Officer from Headquarter Southern Command at Shivaji Nagar Police Parade Ground in a ceremonious manner. 1971 Indo- Pak War Veterans and Veer Naaris were felicitated by the Commissioner of Police, Pune. Commissioner of Police, Pune during his speech mentioned, about great sacrifices of Indian Armed Forces during 1971 War.
