The chairman of the Pune Divisional Board has given a stern warning that if the answer sheets of 10th and 12th examination sent by the state board are returned without checking, the board recognition of the concerned school and junior college will be cancelled.

Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Class 12th written examination has started from February 21 while Class 10th exam has started from March 1st. Therefore, a clear warning has been given that the examination & answer sheets checking should be done in time to declare the result in time, otherwise the board will take action to cancel the recognition of the concerned school.

As soon as the 12th written examination started, the teachers in the state staged a boycott for checking the answer sheets and other demands. Against this backdrop, the presidents of the departmental education boards have warned the teachers.

The teachers of the state have taken this decision for various demands like pension, salary, recruitment. Teachers have also held agitations in the past to express their problems. However, the problems of teachers are not solved. The teachers had taken this decision as only assurances were obtained through repeated agitations.

The teacher had taken the stand that the teacher would not check the answer sheets of the exams. The teachers are agitating for various demands such as cancellation of oppressive conditions in grants, immediate filling of vacant posts of teachers, implementation of old pension schemes.

But now, if the answer sheet is returned without checking, the board recognition of the school and college will be cancelled, the concerned education board has given a stern warning.
