The state government has announced guidelines regarding the dress code of teachers in all medium schools of all managements in the state. Similarly, female teachers should wear saree or salwar, chudidar, kurta, dupatta, while male teachers should wear plain shirts and pants. The state government has given instructions that teachers should not use jeans and t-shirts. Also, the state government has said that the school should decide a single ‘dress code’ for all the teachers.

The school education department of the state government has issued an ordinance regarding dress code for teachers. So now teachers have to come to school in neat dress. Local bodies in the state. Working teachers in schools of all mediums and all boards under all managements, aided, semi-aided, unaided, self-financed are forming the future generation.

Students see them as a guide. These teachers come in contact with students, parents, eminent persons, and public representatives. At such times, the attire of teachers is seen as a very important part of their personality. It is reflected in the attire of the people concerned. Therefore, students have to be conscious about their attire while doing teaching work in school. Care is taken to ensure that the attire is at least appropriate for your school post.

Doctor’s name is preceded by ‘Dr’ or the lawyer’s name is prefixed with ‘Adv’. Accordingly, now the name of teachers in the state will be prefixed with ‘T’. The State Government through an Ordinance has given instructions to prefix the name of teachers working under the schools of all the respective managements in the state with ‘Tr’ in English language and ‘T’ in Marathi language.

Also, the insignia will be determined through the Education Commissioner in this context. This address and insignia can be applied by the teachers on their vehicles.
